Candore is a mobile app quiz designed to test your adaptability and decision-making skills in various real-life scenarios. Delve into different situations and make choices that reflect your personality and approach to life.

What I did:

UX/UI Design

Programs used:

Figma

This school project focused on designing an engaging learning experience through the development of a mobile quiz. While the assignment originally called for a single flow path, I wanted to push the boundaries by creating a unique flow for every choice. I challenged myself to learn and explore the versatility of interactive design.

Challenge:

The challenge for this project was to create a mobile quiz with a single flow path. However, I aimed to push the boundaries by designing unique flow paths for each choice, making the project more complex and engaging. This required mastering Figma's prototyping features, managing multiple design iterations, and ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience throughout the quiz.

New Technique:

I started by creating line art drawings of various flowers, focusing on simplicity and elegance. Then, I carefully selected which flowers would complement each other best in terms of shape, size, and overall aesthetic. After choosing the perfect combination, I arranged them into a cohesive pattern, ensuring balance and harmony in the design. By repeating this pattern, I created a visually pleasing motif that could be applied to various surfaces, such as fabrics or stationery, adding a touch of sophistication and style.

Prototyping:

Figma’s prototyping features completely transformed my design process. With hands-on practice and helpful guidance from YouTube tutorials and my professor, I uncovered a range of tools that made complex designs simpler. Focusing on user-friendly solutions, Figma’s updated variables significantly improved file management efficiency, enabling quicker iterations and enhanced productivity in prototype development.
