The decision to rebrand came to communicate these core values and services to their clients more effectively to reflect their commitment to quality and professionalism better from a desire to more effectively communicate these core values and services to their clients. Problem:

Before the rebrand, Ginger’s Janitorial faced a challenge: their visual identity didn’t reflect the level of care, detail, and professionalism they brought to their work. Their branding felt generic and didn’t help them stand out in a competitive market where many companies offered similar services. While their service quality was exceptional, it wasn’t clear in their materials or messaging what made them truly unique.

Solution:

To solve this, I conducted a full in-depth brand strategy to uncover their positioning and strengths. Through this process, I identified what set them apart: their personal touch, unwavering attention to detail, and ability to go beyond cleaning by offering minor maintenance services. These insights became the foundation for the rebrand. The goal was to design an identity that captured their warmth and reliability while elevating their professionalism to match the trust their clients already placed in them. I created a cohesive and approachable identity that told their story and set them apart. By focusing on their strengths—attention to detail, reliability, and the care they put into every space—I designed a look that feels both polished and friendly. A signature part of the new identity is the custom pattern. It features simple, hand-drawn icons of cleaning tools—like spray bottles, gloves, and brooms—that reflect the services Ginger’s provides. The pattern adds personality and flexibility, working across different applications like social media, uniforms, and packaging while reinforcing their brand story in a subtle way.

Ginger’s competitors often leaned into overly corporate or plain designs, making it hard for them to connect with clients on a personal level. This rebrand positioned Ginger’s as approachable but polished, with a style that feels human and dependable. The color scheme—deep navy paired with fresh blues and soft neutrals—balances trustworthiness and cleanliness, while the Pontiac font family brings a clean and modern look that’s easy to read and versatile across platforms.

The process was detailed and collaborative. From workshops to define their mission, vision, and values, to exploring different design directions, every decision was made to create a brand that felt uniquely theirs.
